“Something Special” at Walton Hall and Gardens

A NEW series of long-running children’s TV show “Something Special” has launched – featuring scenes filmed in Warrington’s Walton Hall and Gardens.

The new series of the BAFTA award winning show features children’s TV icon Mr Tumble.

Series 14 of the show introduces additional presenters including George Webster, Ben Cajee and Maddie Moate, who appeared at Walton Hall and Gardens last year for the family friendly festival, Gloworm.

Cllr Tony Higgins, cabinet member for leisure and community, said: “I’m delighted to share the news that Mr Tumble and his brilliant team from the BBC spent several weeks filming at Walton Hall and Gardens..
“Make sure you keep watching the new series of ‘Something Special’ and you may see more of Walton very soon!”
