WARRINGTON Borough Council has published details of temporary road closures which will take place in Croft village tomorrow (Saturday) in connection with the annual Croft Carnival.
This year’s Croft Carnival is taking place on the Playing Field on Saturday 5th July 2025 and this year is extra special as it is the 100 year anniversary of this much loved event.
The theme for this year is “The Roaring 20s” so be sure to look out for all scarecrows when travelling through the village. The Parade will start from The Plough at 12 noon with floats, bands and participants in fancy dress making their way through Croft to the playing field, where the Carnival will officially open at 1:15pm. There will be a large variety of stalls and activities with something for everybody to enjoy, including live music, acrobatic display, dance, children’s entertainment, rides and much more. The Carnival concludes with the world famous Egg Throwing Competition (weather permitting).
Between 11am and 12.15 pm Kenon Lane will be closed to traffic between Heath Road and Wilton Lane.
