A NUMBER of motorists have reported incidents of youths throwing objects at passing cars from a footbridge in the Westbrook area of Warrington over the weekend.
At least two vehicles were damaged – one woman driver reported that her windscreen was smashed.
A police spokesperson said: “The actions of these youths was irresponsible and dangerous. Anyone who can help identify the offenders should call police on 101.”
The objects thrown included stones, tree branches and pieces of timber.
