Warrington-based amateur theatre company Centenary are set to return to the Brindley stage with its next production of Disney’s ‘The Little mermaid’.
The classic musical based on the Disney’s 1989 animation is set to take stage at the Brindley theatre in Runcorn this November where we will Ariel and Flounder explore the human world where Ariel falls in love with Prince Eric, this causes Ariel to take drastic measures to be able to leave the merfolk and join the humans. Centenary have brought this story to life through singing, acting and a lot of dancing!
Centenary theatre company have been performing since 1907 and have taken pride in producing top quality and entertaining shows, this year they performed Andrew Lloyd Webbers “The Phantom of the Opera’ as a sell-out production receiving a 5* north west end review and a positive NODA review.
Centenary are an adult amateur theatre company but have welcomed children to join them in this performance of The Little Mermaid, the children have been busy bringing entertainment and also fundraising for Centenary, Anvi, Archie, Aria, Elizabeth, Emilie, Georgia, Harry, Jacob, Jasmine, Jessica, Jonas, Joseph, Penelope, Pippa, Poppy, Rosie, Sam, Sienna, Sophie and Zak have all been organising their own events to help the society produce the best production of The Little Mermaid and help them to keep being able to offer these opportunities for the young performer of the North West.
The Little Mermaid will be at the Brindley Theatre in Runcorn, it will run from Tuesday 12th – 16th November 2024 from 7:30pm nightly and a Saturday matinee from 14:00m.
