Car towed away for causing obstruction

POLICE have towed away a car which was causing an obstruction for wheelchair users at Padgate, by blocking a footpath.

Officers arranged for the vehicle to be removed earlier today from Pasture Lane due to it obstructing the footpath.
Several disabled residents had not be able to pass it in their wheelchairs.
It follows numerous appeals by the emergency services reminding people not to block roads with inconsiderate parking.
