Blaze in playground

FIREFIGHTERS from Warrington were called out to deal with a fire in a children’s play area in Wellfield Street, Warrington.
The blaze was extinguished without much damage being caused.
Crews were also called to Northwich Road, Stretton to rescue a sheep stuck in the mud in a drained pond. A specialist animal rescue unit from Knutsford dealt with the incident and the animal was not serious harmed.

  1. this is not the first time the vandals have set fire to this new play area, it’s a-shame, they don’t deserve it. do they understand they pay for this through council tax.

  2. but do they Fred? Most of the yobs that hang about around there will either be living at home with mummy & daddy paying for everything out of their benefits or be on benefits themselves….. My office used to be directly opposite the pub so I know what I’m talking about!! and believe me, the place; after dark, is somewhere you wouldn’t want to be these days
