WARRINGTON Wolves’ talisman Lee Briers has signed a one year contract extension with the club.
Briers, who was contracted until the end of the current season, has agreed the extension and says he wants to end his playing days with the Wolves.
He currently feels he has at least a couple more seasons in him and once his playing career is over he is looking into moving into coaching.
Briers, joined Warrington in 1998 from his home town club in St Helens, where he still lives with his wife and family.
Picture shows Briers “kissing the badge” as he celebrated a long awaited win over St Helens at Widnes recently.
