RESIDENTS of Keate House care home recently gathered for a sunny afternoon at a festival-themed party.

Family members joined in the fun too. There was a prize for the funniest item found on the entrance bag search, which turned out to be a rubber duck.
The care home staff had transformed the communal area into a vibrant festival ground, with colourful decorations, a dancefloor and photo booth. Residents were encouraged to come dressed in their most festive outfits and glittery accessories.

The party kicked off with live music from Britain’s Got Talent contestants ‘Yours Truly’ playing their ukulele singing popular tunes that the residents could sing along to.
The party ended with a lively dance performance by staff members, who were dressed as unicorns and sharks. Their energetic moves brought smiles to the faces of the residents, encouraging them to join in and show off their own dance moves.
Laughter filled the garden as the residents moved around the dancefloor as the care home staff supported and encouraged them.
