A motorist stopped by police for using a mobile phone while driving near a school at Penketh failed a roadside drug test.
He was also found to be in possession of Class A and B drugs.
The male was stopped on Liverpool Road by the Road Crime Team based at Penketh police station near to a school for using his phone while driving. During the stop the male was found to be in possession of Class A and Class B drugs, he also failed a roadside drugs wipe for Class A drugs.
The male was arrested for the offences identified and has been released pending further enquiries.
