THE power of flowers captured imaginations and has boosted the coffers of Glazebury All Saints Church.
Four enthusiastic flower arrangers used foliage sourced from their own gardens and surrounding countryside , gerberas, orchids and traditional roses to create a series of stunning displays.
Regaling their audience with tales of their travels, their families and how their interest in flower arranging has developed over the years the four local women wowed listeners with their creativity and daring.
The event held in the village scout Centre raised more than £600 for the church and for flower arrangers Jill Cruikshank, Mary Latchford, Jayne Roddy and Sue Leather it has become a regular feature of their Christmas celebrations.
