WARRINGTON police are hunting for a burglar who ransacked an elderly couples home while they were out visiting a day care centre earlier today (Monday).

Officers from the town’s Proactive Policing unit attended the scene of the particularly upsetting burglary in the Winifred Street area of Warrington.
