FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night following reports of a fire in woodland near Birchwood Golf course.
At 21:44 one crew from Warrington attended reports of a fire in woodland off Birchwood Way.
A small fire involving refuse was extinguished by firefighters with water. The fire was situated near a golf course in a wooded area so the crew travelled on foot to locate the area.
