Fire crew puts out unsafe wood fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to extinguish a controlled burning of wood at Latchford, Warrington, deemed unsafe.

At 10:56 today, Wednesday, one crew from Warrington attended a property on Slater Street.

A hose reel jet was used to put out a fire involving wood. Although initially a controlled burn it was deemed to be unsafe due to its location.
