UPDATED: POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to following an armed robbery at a barbershop on Knutsford Road, Warrington.
It follows a public appeal last week (Tuesday, March 25) when police received reports of a robbery at a barbershop in Knutsford Road, Latchford at around 1.15 pm.
During the incident, an unknown suspect entered the premises, believed to be armed with a knife, and made off with a quantity of cash.
The suspect is described as male, of a slim build and is believed to be of Asian origin. He was wearing a dark pair of tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down the leg, black trainers, and a long-sleeved jacket.
The suspect fled the scene in the direction of Grove Street and then towards Slater Street and on to Oxford Street.
Detective Sergeant David Gerrard said: “Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and anyone with any information or who witnessed what happened is asked to contact Cheshire Police.
“We would also urge anyone with any relevant footage, including CCTV or dashcam footage, as well as anyone who saw anything suspicious around the time of the incident to get in touch with us.
