ROAD closures will be in force for up to two weeks on School Road, Orford to allow a new sewer connection to be installed.
Works are set to start on April 7th with local diversions in place.
Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on School Road from its junction with Povey Road to its junction with Primrose Close.
The Order will be effective from 7th April 2025. The closure is for a period of 2 weeks, however, it will be in place as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
The alternative route will be via Povey Road, Capesthorne Road, Poplars Avenue, Statham Avenue, Morgan Avenue, Sandy Lane and vice versa. The closure is required to allow a new sewer connection to be installed in the highway.
