WARRINGTON’S JTF Mega Discount Warehouse has donated four pallets of compost to charity group Active Community Enterprise (ACE).

The charity works with adults with S.E.N, brain injuries, or are on the ASD scale and has been serving the local community for 11 years.
ACE offers activities and events in a variety of locations around the Merseyside area including live music, cinema screenings, physical activity, arts and crafts, and gardening.
The donated compost will go to help the charity’s garden centre, helping to fill some raised beds for visitors to grow their own fruit and veg as well as to create hanging baskets at regular workshops.
As well as a place to release creatively, the garden centre also offers service users with opportunities to gain work experience and build their personal confidence and skill set.
Steve Reed, managing director at ACE, said: “Thank you so much to Warrington JTF for their generous donation! The compost will help us immensely with all our work here at ACE.”
Matthew Pointer, store manager at JTF Warrington said: “It’s important to us all at JTF that we try and support our community in any way we can.
“It is a true pleasure to be given the chance to help our local charities by donating whatever we can to make the day-to-day running easier for these exceptional causes. Hopefully, our compost helps ACE grow some fantastic fruit and veg!”
