FIREFIGHTERS were called to woodland at Great Sankey, Warrington last night after a fire – believed to have been started delberately, was discovered.
The blaze, in woodland off Wimbourne Close, involved a bonfire but also a number of trees.
A fire crew extinguished the flames using a water backpack. There was no damage to property.
