POLICE are investigating what is believed to be an arson attack on a home at Warrington.
The blaze involved a car on the driveway of a house in Barrymore Avenue, Latchford and it occurred in the early hours of yesterday.
The car was well alight when fire crews reached the scene. One firefighter wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using a hose reel jet.
A Fire Service spokesman said the fire was believed to have been started deliberately.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101 or use the anonymous Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555 111.
