WARRINGTON Town Ladies FC hosted a visiting team from American with a special challenge match at Cantilever Park.
With Town Ladies Under 14s trailing 3-0 at the break in appalling weather conditions the Ladies Under 16s faired better in the second half winning 2-1.
Mayor of Warrington Brian Axcell and his Mayoress wife Irina were on hand to present a special plque to the visiting team who played the game a spart of a tour of the areas organised by the Cheshire F.A.
