Road closure for up to one week at Croft

THERE will be a road closure on Dam Lane Croft, next week, for up to one week to allow Scottish Power to install a new customer connection.

Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Dam Lane from its junction with Smithy Lane to its junction with Southworth Lane.
The Order will be effective from 11th April 2024 for 1 week, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Smithy Brow, Smithy Lane and vice versa.
The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to install a new customer connection.
