Two fire crews tackle outbuilding fire on banks of ship canal

TWO fire crews were called out following reports of a fire on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal in Warrington.

At 19:31 last night (Wednesday) crews from Warrington and Stockton Heath were called to reports of a fire on Clear Water Quays.

The fire involved an outbuilding on a canal embankment was attended by firefighters and extinguished with a hose reel.
No cause has been given.
