Car seized following reports of anti-social driving at Great Sankey

A car was seized by police at Whittle Hall last night following reports of anti-social driving in the Great Sankey area of Warrington.

The vehicle was seized under S.59 Police Reform Act after the driver was witnessed driving without due care and attention and in a manner likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.

The driver had already received a warning for anti-social driving in the Manchester area within the last 12 months.

This seizure was following reports of cars being driven in an anti-social manner in the Great Sankey area.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson confirmed: “At around 9.45pm on Saturday 27 April police were called to reports of of anti-social driving on Catalina Approach, Warrington.
“Officers attended and on arrival a number of the cars dispersed from the area.
“One vehicle, a blue BMW 330i SE Series, was also seized was also seized for having no insurance.
“No arrests were made.”

  1. We could hear the engine revving in Old Hall. It went on for ages. Hopefully, the Police will catch the motorbikes riding dangerously on Cromwell Avenue late at night.
