Competition launched to name new retirement development

A competition has been launched to name a new independent living retirement development in Penketh, where construction is due to commence soon.

Churchill Retirement Living has launched the competition inviting local residents to come up with a name for the new development of 56 one and two bedroom apartments. The competition closing date is Friday 31st May, with the winner receiving £100 and the winning name appearing on the development itself, as well as all branding, sales and marketing materials.

The new apartments on the site of the former Sportsman’s Arms pub, will provide attractive, high quality, secure and self-contained accommodation designed to enable independence, freedom and low maintenance living for local over 60s. As with all Churchill developments, Owners will enjoy independent living and a sense of community, with a communal Owners’ Lounge, a Guest Suite, a Lodge Manager, and a 24 hour emergency call alarm service.

To enter the naming competition, please send your suggested name and the reason for it along with your name, address and phone number to: Freepost, CHURCHILL RETIREMENT LIVING, PENKETH NAMING COMPETITION or by email to [email protected] by 31st May 2024 (and keep in mind that Churchill Retirement Living development names always end in ‘Lodge’). If more than one person suggests the winning name, the winner will be randomly selected. The chosen name is subject to approval by the Local Authority.
