FAISAL Rashid, Labour Parliamentary candidate for Warrington South, went back to school as part of a school’s “Parliament Week.”
He met Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School’s school council, the TCAT Parliament and the Student Leadership body for a “Question Time” session.
Students asked a variety of questions, including “What is a day in the life of an MP like?”, “Why did you want to be an MP?” and “What can you do to address the issue of homelessness in Warrington?” plus questions surrounding policies and social issues.
The youngsters found it an interesting and informative opportunity which gave them lots to think about.
Children from all TCAT schools were involved in the event, hosted at Boteler.
