CHARITY group Care UK are celebrating two years since opening their home store on the Riverside Retail Park, Warrington.
On Saturday, July 19 they will hold their first-ever “Fill a Bag for £10” sale in Warrington.
The charity has held a few of these events at their Runcorn store and they have always been really popular.
A spokesperson said: “ People love the chance to grab good-quality, pre-loved clothing at affordable prices –
and it all helps support local families/and individuals in need.
“On the day, we’ll also be offering ‘Buy One Get One Free’ on toys, jigsaws, board games and bric-a-brac so it’s a great one for families and bargain hunters.”
All money raised on the day goes straight back into helping local people in crisis.
Care UK charity supports t individuals and families across Warrington who are facing really tough times – whether that’s because they’ve fled domestic abuse, are seeking asylum, dealing with bereavement, or living with long-term illness or mental health struggles.
Last year they gave out more than 17,600 items of clothing and 3,700 essential household items to local people – all for free.
Most of what they give is donated, but they do have to buy some of the essentials like duvets, pillows, kettles and hygiene products.
The spokesperson added: “We’re a small team doing big work, and we couldn’t do any of it without the amazing support of local people, businesses and volunteers.”
