VIDEO: A MAN’S body was found in the water at beauty spot Lymm Dam, near Warrington, early this morning.
At 7.48am, police received a report of the body being seen in the water and access was closed to the area while officers established the circumstances.
A police underwater search team was involved in the operation.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and efforts are ongoing to identify the man.

Can something please be done about dam lane in croft. Who on earth came up with the idea of temporary tall plastic bollards on a bend, it is extremely difficult to see around corners. I am surprised an accident has not already happened, twice now i have waited at the triangle, set off and then had to stop because of a car coming the other way, it is very poor and needs sorting before an accident happens, come on WBC sort this mess out. What have bollards on Dam Lane in Croft got to do with a body being found in Lymm Dam other than they both have the word ‘Dam’ in them? I’m guessing you have commented under the wrong story ?!?
