TICKETS are now on sale for a special “Bucket & Spade” charity railway charter on June 5, travelling from Crewe to Scarborough with a stop at Warrington Bank Quay.

It is set to be an amazing opportunity to enjoy a day out whilst raising funds for local railway charity the Railway Benefit Fund (RBF).
Those taking a seat will be hauled by Class 40 locomotive D213 ‘Andania’ with First Class Intercity carriages from Crewe for a fabulous day trip to the east coast seaside resort town of Scarborough.
The charter will pick up and set down at Crewe, Warrington Bank Quay and Manchester Victoria. There is also the option to stop off at York and spend the day enjoying its many attractions if you prefer.

Ticket options are £199 and £99 for First Class dining or non-dining respectively.
First Class Dining includes a full traditional English breakfast on the outward journey and a three-course supper on the return. First Class (non-dining) is the same comfortable seats with tables and the option to purchase light refreshments from the buffet bar.
Pete Waterman OBE, Charity President says “Our aim is to provide a good value, enjoyable day out for everybody whilst raising money to support the railway family. Who doesn’t enjoy a day at the good old British seaside on the stunning Yorkshire coast or if the beach isn’t your thing, you can spend the day in York and maybe a visit to the National Railway Museum!
“I’m certainly looking forward to the journey and meeting you all then.”
