SIR Thomas Boteler CE High School pupil Rachel Bate achieved success at a national swimming competition in Sheffield.
Rachel (pictured), a Year 8 pupil, competed at Ponds Forge World Class Swimming Centre in Sheffield.
She represented Warrington Warriors in four events, and came second in two.
Her results were – 100m Freestyle second out of 32 (1m 09secs), 50m Freestyle second out of 26 (33.19secs), 100m Breaststroke 11th out of 25 (1min40secs) and 50m Breaststroke, eighth out of 25 (45.28secs).
