THREE men from Crosfields ARLFC, Warrington, were selected to play for England Masters RLFC against Australia in Leeds.
Selectors picked the trio – Dave Reid, Kevin Redmond and John Heritage – after following players across England during the past two years. More than 600 people were on the “long list” including Heritage, 65, the oldest player on England’s Team.

During the tough game one player from each team was “sin-binned.” It saw England continue with its winning streak against Australia with a 4-0 win.
At the end of the game players swapped shirts and enjoyed a night in the clubhouse.
An England Tour is planned in 2014 in which Heritage, Reid and Redmond and their team mates hope to continue the winning streak.
