Views wanted on children's services

VIEWS are being sought on the provision of services for children and young people in Warrington.
The Children and Young People’s Partnership, which brings together all the organisations that support children and young people to achieve their potential, is developing plans for the period up to 2014.
Members have agreed the plan should focus on getting the best outcomes by working together, ensuring that vulnerable children and families get the support they need and identifying those communities most in need.
Cllr Colin Froggatt, the borough council’s executive member for children and young people’s services, said: “The work of the partnership is really important and their plan will help shape the way we support the most vulnerable children and young people in Warrington.
“I would encourage everyone in the local community to take part in this consultation and let us know your views – we really want to hear from you.”
The documents and consultation form are available at www.warrington.gov.uk/cypplan
Forms can be completed online or sent to Simon Lyon, Children and Young People’s Services, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington, WA1 2NJ, or call 01925 443302.

  1. Perhaps the councillors from the Exec. should engage with VPX which is ALL about bringing the Youth together.

My understanding is that they are conspicuous by their absence.
