Van on fire on motorway near Warrington

FIRE crews from Warrington, Penketh and Widnes were called to the M62 near Warrington after a van burst into flames.
The incident was between Junction 7 and Junction 8 yesterday and firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze, which was in the engine bay of the vehicle.
They then used a thermal imaging camera to check for fire in the rest of the vehicle.
There were no reports of injuries.
