Miller Homes North West has donated £555 to Warrington Youth Zone through its Community Fund, helping young people across the town develop practical gardening skills and gain a recognised qualification.
The contribution will support the charity’s Sustainable Gardening project, which will give 20 young people across two groups the opportunity to work towards an AQA Unit Award in Sustainable Gardening.
During the project, participants will plant and grow a variety of fruit, vegetables and flowers, including potatoes using the Youth Zone’s new growing barrels. Each participant will also build and decorate a bug hotel to take home, allowing the project’s benefits to extend into gardens across Warrington by creating new habitats for insects and pollinators.
Warrington Youth Zone has supported young people in the town since the 1930s. Open 365 days a year, the charity welcomes more than 1,200 young people each week, providing a safe and welcoming space for those aged seven to 19, and up to 25 for young people with additional needs.

The donation reflects Miller Homes’ continued commitment to supporting the Warrington community, with homes at its new Aspen Row development in Great Sankey now available to early-bird reserve.
