Families are invited to celebrate the end of the summer with a weekend of dazzling fireworks and mighty superheroes at Gulliver’s World.
The Superhero Summer Finale takes place on Saturday 5th September at the Warrington theme park, with the fireworks lighting up the night sky around 8.45pm*.
The opening hours for rides and attractions will be extended from 10.30am until 8.30pm, meaning more time for guests to enjoy their favourites!
Craig Clews, resort director at Gulliver’s World, said: “What a wonderful way to bring the curtain down on another action-packed summer season. The fireworks show always prove incredibly popular, and with so many superheroes around, it promises to be such a colourful weekend!
“We encourage all children and adults to dress up in their favourite superhero outfits, and there will be special superhero challenges, character displays, and entertainment throughout.”
With more than 50 rides, attractions, shows and activities to enjoy, there is so much to do and see at Gulliver’s World that the longer opening hours will come in handy for families.
Visitors can experience the thrills of rides like the Pirate Ship, Desperado Drop, Antelope Wooden Coaster, and Togo Tower, and can get up close with the park’s incredible animatronic dinosaurs.
The Gulliver’s Gears car-themed area has two fun rides – the Grand Prix Racer rollercoaster, and Overdrive, a 360-degree thrill and one of Gulliver’s most daring rides.
There’s also the awesome Upside Down House, which defies gravity by turning everything on its head, along with the Winged Monkeys Wicked-inspired adventure, and Munchkin Motors, where families can drive through the Land of Oz looking out for its much-loved characters.
Gulliver’s World also has a range of themed accommodation, including an onsite hotel featuring Unicorn, Cowboy, Sweetie and Pirate-themed rooms, along with themed dens, lodges and tipis in Wilderness Wharf.
