A MAN was arrested at Warrington this morning on an allegation of two thefts from a charity jar in a town centre church during the summer.
The man was arrested on Bridge Street – and is now being held in custody awaiting interview.
It was the second arrest in connection with the alleged thefts.
A woman co-defendant was arrested on Saturday near to Bank Quay Station and appeared in court this morning when she was given a four week custodial sentence.
