Male arrested after urinating on police van

A male was arrested in Warrington town centre after being caught in the act of urinating on a parked police van.

The incident happened shortly before 23:00 last night when officers were out and about in the town centre and were alerted to a male who had seen it fit urinate against a Police van.

Officers intercepted mid-flow and he was arrested and taken into custody.

Meanwhile, Warrington’s Neighbourhood team was being supported by six Special Constables to further bolster their numbers from Cheshire Police Special Constabulary who had given up their Bank Holiday Weekend so that you can enjoy yours!
Officers were in both uniform and plain clothes as part of Operation Banishing – to keep you safe and to proactively target those who come to Warrington to cause us harm.
