Discarded cigarette believed to have started industrial waste bins blaze

FIREFIGHTERS were called out during the early hours of Saturday morning to tackle a blaze involving two industrial waste bins on Winwick Road.

Crews from Warrington attended at the scene at 05:21.

A carelessly discarded cigarette is believed to be the cause of a fire involving two industrial waste bins in a compound.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to put the fire out. There was no damage to any nearby buildings.
