POLICE have sadly confirmed that a 55-year-old woman was found dead at a property in Bewsey, Warrington.
It follows reports of a large police presence in the area yesterday, Tuesday.
Police have now confirmed that at around 12.50 pm yesterday, Monday, officers were called to concerns for the welfare of a woman at an address on Plumtre Avenue in Bewsey.
Police attended the property, and a 55-year-old woman was found deceased.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “The death is not being treated as suspicious and a case file will be prepared for the coroner.”
