Man suffers smoke inhalation tackling kitchen fire

A MAN suffered the effects of smoke inhalation after tackling a kitchen fire at his home at Warrington early today.
The fire was at a property in Station Road, Padgate and two fire engines from Warrington were sent to the scene at about 12.30am.
By the time they arrived, the fire was out but the property was badly effected by smoke and crews used a ventilation unit to clear smoke from the building.
They also treated the occupier for smoke inhalation.
Cause of the fire was anunattended chip pan.
