Man overcome by smoke

AMBULANCE crews were called to the scene of a fire on an allotment site at Warrington to help a man suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation.
The blaze was at the allotments off Lilford Avenue, Bewsey and involved a shed.
Firefighters used two hosereel jets to extinguish the outbreak and called paramedics to the scene.
In a separate incident, Hawleys Lane, Dallam was closed to traffic as firefighters tackled a car fire using one hosereel jet.
