Teenager robbed in street

AN 18-year-old man was attacked and robbed as he walked along a footpath at Warrington.
He suffered minor injuries to his face, which did not require hospital treatment. But he was robbed of his shoulder bag and a cash card.
Now police are appealing for information about the robbery which took place at about 5pm on Tuesday, September 25.
The victim was walking along the footpath from Wellfield Street to Highfield Close, underneath Black Railway Bridge, when he passed a group of men.
One of the men grabbed him and pulled him to the floor. Members of the group then punched him and searched his pockets before fleeing in the direction of High Gate Close.
The shoulder bag was later recovered.
The five offenders were about 19-years-old and were wearing black tracksuits. Four of the men had dark hair and one had blonde hair which was shorter on the sides and longer on top. He had a long face and blue eyes.
