WARRINGTON Town continued their pre-season with a creditable 1-1 draw with Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division side Ashton United at Cantilever Park.
Town started strongly with chances being created from both flanks and went ahead when Fraser Ablett (pictured) was put through on goal and fired past the Ashton keeper on 25 minutes.
Just before the break Deegan made it all square giving the visitors a share of the spoils.
In the second half both sides continued to play at a high tempo in sunny conditions. Town and the Robins made a number of changes which slowed down the pace of the game.
Warrington Town now play Glossop North end tonight (Monday) kick off 7.45pm
