WARRINGTON-based Dolce Schools Catering has been crowned “Contract Caterer of the Year” at the 2025 Public Sector Catering Awards.
The Awards bring together the very best in the industry and recognise excellence, innovation and impact across the public sector catering landscape. The awards ceremony saw 650 people from across the catering industry attend to celebrate the 19 winners across the various categories.
The ‘Contract Caterer of the Year’ category covered many sectors – not just school catering – making this a significant win for family-run Dolce, which specialises in education.
Managing director Scott Curtis said: “We are absolutely over the moon to win Contract Caterer of the Year and not only be recognised amongst education caterers, but caterers across the whole of the public sector.
“It’s an incredible honour to be acknowledged for our commitment to plant-forward, climate-friendly catering, as well as our efforts to reduce food waste and energy usage. Our team pour energy and heart into everything we do, from developing nutritious menus to building strong relationships with schools, pupils and parents. We’re proud to deliver a catering service that really makes a difference. This award belongs to every member of team Dolce.”
The award win follows a storming few months for the contract caterer. After winning 100+ new contracts in the past 12 months, Dolce now works with over 650 schools across England and Wales and will see revenue reach a record £65million for 2024/25, as a result of new business wins.
Mr Curtis added: “It’s our approach to look at things differently and break new ground, combined with our commitment to providing the best possible service, that has fuelled our steadfast growth in recent years.”
