TWO care homes based in the Warrington area will be holding their annual ‘Memory Fair’ open days on Wednesday May 23 to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society, marking Dementia Awareness Week (20-26 May).
Staff and residents are inviting the local community to take part in a special programme of events reminiscing about by-gone eras, and to enjoy a tour and refreshments at local homes.
The event take place at the CLS care homes at Westy Hall in Latchford,celebrating Warrington’s walking day tradition at 2pm and Holcroft Grange in Culcheth where residents will be sharing war memories with the help of a local army solider from 2pm-4pm.
