Local schools in rap competition

PENKETH High and Bridgewater High schools are taking part in a “Rap and Snap” competition for 11-16 year olds.
All pupils from each participating school have been asked to sing or write about what concerns them the most in their community.
There are two categories: RAP in which pupils will write or perform a rap song about an issue and SNAP in which pupils will take a photograph of an issue which concerns them.
They will go up against Blacon High School in Chester and Kings Grove High in Crewe.
Public voting will take place from Friday May 10, with four RAP and four SNAP entries taken to the Grand Finale on June 3 at Cheshire Police headquarters.
