WARRINGTON went down by two wickets hosting Bredbury St Marks, despite batting first and posting a respectable 227-9 in the heat.

Liam Jenkins hit 42 and Ashley Scholes 60 while skipper Harley Barratt chipped in with a lively 35 later on.
The visitors got off to a solid start and kept up the scoring rate despite losing wickets along the way reaching their target with just two balls to spare.
Warrington’s 2nd, 3rd and 4th teams all picked up victories.
Grappenhall lost by 36 runs at home to Haslington, chasing a total 181. Jason Batson top-scored with 45.

Lymm Oughtrington Park lost by five wickets to visiting Over Peover despite J Hughes hitting a fine undefeated 116 in a total of 245-5.
The visitors replied with 247-5.
Lymm 2nd won by six wickets at Alvanley while the 3rd XI lost by 21 runs hosting Rostherne.
Glazebury won by 17 runs at Winsford and Glazebury 2nd won by three runs after a closely fought game at home to Oakmere.
