WARRINGTON Wolves Head of Women’s Rugby has welcomed a pioneering partnership with Fairfield Independent Hospital.
Emily Tandy believes the collaboration will put player wellbeing at the heart of the women’s teams ambitions.
The St Helen’s based hospital, which is part of the Circle Health Group, has been named Warrington Wolves’ Women’s Official Healthcare Partner and will work closely with the team’s medical staff throughout the 2027 season and beyond in providing diagnostic imaging, physiotherapy, outpatient department treatments and consultations
Emily said: “This partnership is an exciting milestone for our women’s section and is exactly the sort of partnership I was keen to establish when I first began my role.
“Our women’s team proudly represent our club each week and providing them with high-quality medical care is the least we can do to ensure our players are protected and continue to thrive.
“This represents a significant step forward and emphasises the club’s commitment to providing their players with the high-quality medical care required to lift the performances and professionalism of the team.”
As part of the partnership agreement, Fairfield Independent Hospital’s logo will be displayed on the 2027 Women’s playing kit, and there will be a special takeover event at a 2027 women’s home game.
Steve Yardley, Executive Director of Fairfield Independent Hospital, said: “It’s an honour to be named Official Healthcare Partner to Warrington Wolves Women.
“The club share our commitment to excellence and community, values that we know underpin everything they do both on and off the pitch.
“We wish the players, staff and club every success. Come on The Wire!”
