Pupils given insight into work of police in local community

PUPILS at Cobbs Infant School at Appleton, were given an interesting insight into the work of local police officers in their community

Community officers Mahon and Perrie had a “great time” educating youngsters about how the police help in their community.

The 3 and 4 year-olds loved the police car and flashing lights!

Meanwhile, local officers have been outside nearby Broomfields Primary School responding to concerns raised that vehicles are parking irresponsibly and Illegally on the yellow zig zags outside the school entrance.
Officers are aware that this is an issue in a lot of schools in the area and urge drivers to park/drop off sensibly when attending your local School for the safety of all involved.
