Council to take action after blue bin collections missed at Lingley Green

WARRINGTON Borough Council is taking action after blue bin collections were missed at Lingley Green earlier today, Friday.

A council spokesperson said: “Some roads didn’t have their blue bins collected today due to unforeseen operational issues – we’re very sorry for the inconvenience.”

If people on the following roads can put their blue bins out by 6.30am on Monday they’ll be collected:

Witton Lake
Watergrove crescent
Calf Hey
Butter Brook
Trentham Gardens
Winscar Close
Swinfen Lake
Castleshaw Close
Rudyard Lake
Draycote Water
Barkston Heath Drive
Molesworth Close
Welford Gardens
Membury Drive
Cheddington Crescent
Metfield Gardens
Sophia Drive
Alfa Way
Stanhoe Drive
Rivenhall Close
Shepherds Grove
Ketteringham Drive
Lakenheath Crescent
Cottesmore Close

    SO ALL THESE BINS WILL BE LEFT “ILLEGALLY” ON THE PAVEMENT OVER THE WEEKEND !
    THESE WILL BE A MAGNET FOR UNSOCIALABLE BEHAVIOUR & POTENTIAL “RAT” PROBLEM.
    THIS BIN SERVICE HAS NEVER BEEN RUN THIS BAD UNTIL LAST 2 YEARS !!!!!!!!!!!
