Driver trapped after car crashes into tree at Appleton

FIRE and rescue crews were called to Appleton, Warrington today following reports of a car crashing into a tree.
The incident was in Lumb Brook Road and on arrival, crews from Warrington and Lymm discovered a casualty trapped in the saloon car.
They helped release the casualty who was handed over to paramedics. The fire crews also made the vehicle safe.
The crews were at the scene for around 15 minutes.
