WARRINGTON Charities Trust (WCT), who have funded grassroots charitable organisations since 1989, have unlocked £20,000 to help local groups bounce back from COVID19.
Paul Taylor, chair of Warrington Charities Trust said; “Many grassroots organisations are struggling to recover from Covid amid the ‘new norm’. We aim to address that and hope the good people of Warrington will help us.”
The Trust has also launched an initiative on the back of the Government’s “Eat out to Help Out” scheme.
“Patrons will be encouraged to donate some of the money they’ve saved to help commendable local causes. As always with Warrington charities Trust, every single penny that is donated will go directly to local vetted charitable organisations who are struggling in this testing time.”
“We appreciate its tough for many right now but passing on what you can from your reduced dining bill will help ensure there’s a helping hand for others in less fortunate positions.”
